Plant-based Milks

Here are 3 version to make your own plant-based milks from nuts, bananas or coconout.
If preferred, you can always add spices like 1 pinch of salt, 1 date, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract or 1 tsp of cacao powder before blending.

Banana Milk

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup of water

Nut Milk

  • 1 cup nuts e.g. almonds/cashews/chestnuts
  • 2-3 cups water

Coconout Milk

  • 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconout
  • 1 cup warm/hot water

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Optionally, you can push it through a nut bag.
  • Fill in a glass and enjoy.

The milk will keep in the fridge for up to 5 days.
