Here are 3 version to make your own plant-based milks from nuts, bananas or coconout.
If preferred, you can always add spices like 1 pinch of salt, 1 date, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract or 1 tsp of cacao powder before blending.
Banana Milk
- 1 banana
- 1 cup of water
Nut Milk
- 1 cup nuts e.g. almonds/cashews/chestnuts
- 2-3 cups water
Coconout Milk
- 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconout
- 1 cup warm/hot water
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Optionally, you can push it through a nut bag.
- Fill in a glass and enjoy.
The milk will keep in the fridge for up to 5 days.
