Smoothies

The basis of a raw vegan diet are very simple fruit-based recipes.
Here are some simple version for banana-based smoothies.
You can always add more ingredients and spices if you like, but I recommend you to keep it simple.

Banana Date Smoothie

  • 1-4 bananas
  • 5 dates (depitted)
  • 1 tsp of carob/cacao/cinnamon/tumeric powder (optional)

Banana Berries Smoothie

  • 1-4 bananas
  • 1 cup of frozen berries e.g. strawberries, blueberries

Banana Spirulina Smoothie

  • 1-4 bananas
  • 1 tsp of spirulina powder

Green Banana Smoothie

  • 1-4 bananas
  • 1 handful of fresh greens e.g. nettles, dandlion, spinach, swiss chard, arucula ...

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender.
  • Add filtered water or apple juice, at least until desired amount and consistency.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Fill in a glass and enjoy.
