The basis of a raw vegan diet are very simple fruit-based recipes.
Here are some simple version for banana-based smoothies.
You can always add more ingredients and spices if you like, but I recommend you to keep it simple.
Banana Date Smoothie
- 1-4 bananas
- 5 dates (depitted)
- 1 tsp of carob/cacao/cinnamon/tumeric powder (optional)
Banana Berries Smoothie
- 1-4 bananas
- 1 cup of frozen berries e.g. strawberries, blueberries
Banana Spirulina Smoothie
- 1-4 bananas
- 1 tsp of spirulina powder
Green Banana Smoothie
- 1-4 bananas
- 1 handful of fresh greens e.g. nettles, dandlion, spinach, swiss chard, arucula ...
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender.
- Add filtered water or apple juice, at least until desired amount and consistency.
- Blend until smooth.
- Fill in a glass and enjoy.
